Pig Roast

The Club is having its first Pig Roast.

It will be cooked on our new spit, hand turned for hours, and roasted over a wood fire. We will start cooking it around 5am in the morning.

Many hands will make it lighter work.  So, volunteers willing to take a short spell turning the beast (every 15 minutes) will be much appreciated. Early risers welcome; but pop by any time during the day, with the kids.  Bring a chair and chill.

All our members and their families are invited.  N.B. Not sure at what point we will be running out of crackling though; it is always the first thing to go!

Enjoy a bap full of meat, plus stuffing with all the trimmings (including sliced tomatoes and cucumber), potato salad and coleslaw – and of course apple sauce.

And, on the same night, we also have a double treat - an evening with Mel the Singer - Starting at 8pm!

Food for the stomach and the soul. Way to Go!!!!
